It’s the rock duo’s first new music since 2022.

Nova Twins are back, making a characteristically punchy returning statement with new single ‘Monsters’.
We last heard from the groundbreaking pair - made up of vocalist/guitarist Amy Love and bassist Georgia South - back in 2022, when their second album ‘Supernova’ (a follow up to 2020’s debut LP ‘Who Are The Girls?’) was shortlisted for the prestigious Mercury Prize, making them the first Black rock band to have received the nod.
Now, Nova Twins are well and truly kick-starting their third chapter with ‘Monsters’; recorded with producer Rick Costey (Foo Fighters, Sam Fender, Muse), it’s an unapologetic, anthemic track that tackles the daunting but important idea of confronting your inner demons.
“‘Monsters’ is about awakening to and understanding your mental health,” the duo have explained. “Growing up, we often look outward, absorbing what life throws at us. Over time, the good and bad experiences start to settle. Before learning to navigate these feelings, you may face self-loathing, anxiety and a fear of who you’ve become. Confronting these emotions, breathing through them, and opening up to someone can help. Many people struggle with mental health, and this song aims to show vulnerability and let our audience know they’re not alone.”
